14 an hour Under the supervision of the Director of Child & Adolescent Services, this position is responsible for the delivery of clinical services and community supports to children and adolescents with severe and persistent mental illness, as defined by the State authority, Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
Services will be provided according to the Texas Resiliency and Recovery Mode (TRR) and must conform to the expectations of the Performance Contract, community service standards, Medicaid compliance, and Center policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provider assists clients with accessing community resources and services.
Provider conducts face-to-face assessments and assists clients in developing their Recovery Plans.
This position may be required to serve on crisis call after regular business hours, for which compensation is provided.
The provider will be trained to respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions to any person requesting help or presenting a crisis at any time.
Teamwork, initiative, and professional work standards are expected.
This position requires an aptitude for working with severely mentally ill and often impoverished people, and for seeing this work as a clinical specialty in which we take great pride.
A working knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, assessment, behavioral interventions, and recovery planning is a requisite for this position.
Assistance with keeping unassigned caseloads up to date will be required when the need arises.

Education, Training, and Experience Must have bachelors degree from accredited college or university with major in social, behavioral, or human services field.
Experience with severe and persistent mental illness is preferred.
Must have valid drivers license and be insurable to drive Center vehicles.
Position may require use of personal vehicle in performance of job-related duties and proof of PIP insurance.
Must pass all Center mandated trainings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to interpret and respond to Center and outside correspondence.
Good spelling and grammar skills.
Ability to complete Service Notes, assessments, brief mental status exams, memos, letters, and reports with attention to spelling and grammar.
Ability to communicate verbal instructions in a courteous and effective fashion.
Prompt and respectful customer service orientation always.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and other software.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
